I have been an avid reader since I was eight years old.
I had a passion for literature, science and the arts since I could read.
My first book was A Brief History of Time, which was published as a teaching assistant for three years at a boarding school in the USA.
After graduating, I worked as a writer and illustrators in the New York City art scene for several years.
I was an assistant to the artist/illustrator Richard Serra for five years in the late 90s.
We spent a year in Paris as part of a project with the National Gallery of Art.
The experience was both a revelation and a very difficult time.
I also wrote a few short stories and had a short story published in the London Review of Books, which was published in 2011.
My current novel, ‘The Perfect Moment’, was published this year by Simon & Schuster.
